Singapore, 1 May 2026 — Wenti Labs, a Singapore-based start-up building artificial intelligence (AI) operating system for construction teams, today announced the close of its pre-seed funding round, led by venture capital firm Zacua Ventures, with participation from Aurum Investments and Feedback Ventures.
The funding will be used to expand the company's engineering team, accelerate customer acquisition, and grow its presence in key Asia-Pacific markets beyond Singapore, including Japan and Australia.
Building the Agentic Operating System (OS) for Construction
Construction sites generate vast amounts of operational data every day, ranging from safety observations and progress updates to site photos, environmental readings and reports. Yet, much of this data remains fragmented across messaging platforms, spreadsheets and manual workflows, limiting its usefulness and slowing decision-making. By the time it reaches a project manager's desk, it is hours or days old, manually compiled, and often incomplete.
Wenti Labs is addressing this inefficiency by building AI agents that operate directly within tools teams already use, to capture and process unstructured data in real time. These agents transform fragmented site inputs into structured, actionable insights, enabling construction teams to operate with greater speed, accuracy and visibility.
For example, a site safety manager can photograph a hazard and send it via chat app to their team. Wenti Labs' AI automatically logs it as a safety issue, categorises it by severity, and notifies the relevant project team if the issue does not get resolved timely — without opening a single additional application.
Rather than requiring teams to adopt new systems or change behaviour, Wenti Labs' approach integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, which is why adoption has been rapid even in an industry known for resisting new technology.
Proven Traction Before External Capital
Notably, Wenti Labs was generating recurring revenue from paying enterprise customers before raising any external capital — a rare milestone at the pre-seed stage that underscores strong market demand. The company's technology is already deployed on active construction projects with leading industry players, including Boustead Projects E&C, Penta-Ocean Construction, Woh Hup, and multiple Tier-1 general contractors in Singapore.
Wenti Labs was founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs with hands-on experience across construction site operations, enterprise software and applied AI — giving the company an insider view of the industry's pain points and how to solve them.
